Shoes and Brews is a specialty running shoe store with a joint taproom/brewery serving 20+ of Colorado’s finest and most unique craft beers. Running and beer have been buddies for a long time. At Shoes and Brews we leverage this friendship to bring an enticing social experience in the form of group runs, the half mile beer price challenge, and new local races to name a few events. The “mullet” analogy has been used to explain our store layout. We’ve got “business” in the front and the party in the back. You can be the judge as to which refers to shoes and which refers to brews. But of course, that does not mean that you need to be a runner to enjoy a brew in our taproom or to be a beer drinker to come in and receive a great shoe fit for your goals.
Shoes
Our staff has over 20 years of running shoe industry experience allowing us to find the best shoe for your needs. We love what a running shoe can do for a person. Whether that means running, walking, improving comfort when on your feet, or looking super cool with your outfit.
Brews
Our taproom and brewery is completely unique to Longmont. We brew our own beer on a single barrel all electric system. Our taproom has 20 taps, usually we have 2-4 of our own beers and the rest are guest taps. The vast majority of the beers we serve, you will not find anywhere else in town. We work hard to select a wide variety of the most soul satisfying brews across the state. This takes a lot of “market research” by our team and we think you will appreciate their choices. We continually rotate options as new beers are created and suggestions come in from beer advocates like you.
